Home health services

Occupational therapy works on the daily tasks a patient needs to manage on their own: getting dressed, bathing, using the toilet, making a meal. Our occupational therapists teach new ways to do those tasks and fit devices that make them easier.

  3. Review

Progress is tracked against the goals and shared with the doctor.

Before care starts

Questions about any of this? Call (818) 717-7181.

  • It starts with a doctor's order

Home health care starts with an order from the patient's doctor. If you don't have one yet, call us and we'll explain how to ask for it.

  • It starts alongside another service

Under Medicare, occupational therapy can't start home health care on its own. It starts alongside nursing, physical therapy, or speech therapy, and it can continue after those end if the patient still needs it.
