Accessibility

We aim to meet WCAG 2.1 AA and check the site as we change it. If anything on it gets in your way, tell us and we'll fix it.

What we've done

  • Every page can be navigated by keyboard alone, with a visible focus indicator and a skip-to-content link.
  • Text colors are checked against WCAG 2.1 AA contrast ratios on the surfaces they appear on.
  • Body text is at least 17 pixels, and pages zoom to 200% without losing content.
  • Anything that moves on its own has a pause button: the home page video, the short muted videos beside page photos, the scrolling row of health plan logos, and the pile of recommendation letters. If your device is set to reduce motion, the site skips its animations and the videos don't play.
  • Form fields have visible labels, and errors are announced to screen readers as well as shown on screen.
  • Decorative graphics are hidden from assistive technology, and photos have text descriptions.
